Meet Darlene McDonagh, LMT
My journey into bodywork began nearly two decades ago at the Healing Hands Institute in Westwood, NJ. Over the past 20 years as a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist, my practice has evolved from a technical application into a deeply intuitive art.
I have spent my career refining a "toolbox" of time-tested techniques, moving away from "one-size-fits-all" routines. Much of my work centers around helping clients manage Fibromyalgia and Migraines, as well as the overwhelmed nervous system. I understand that these conditions require a high level of sensitivity; I work to quiet the body’s "fight or flight" response and release the physical armor we carry when we are stressed.
